Luke Sabis - Director / Writer

Luke Sabis Writer/Director Missing ChildLuke grew up in Queens, New York where he played guitar, sang, and wrote original songs for the alternative rock band, The Take. He began to act and did many plays on the Off Off Broadway stages of New York City. Eleven years ago, he came to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career in Film and Television, but instead fell in love with filmmaking.

Luke went through the Cinema program at Los Angeles City College. (He is also a graduate of St. John’s University, in Jamaica, New York.) He made several short films and has written, and co-written several feature screenplays. One of them, The Ultimate Reality Show, is currently being optioned by Dagger Charge Films. As a filmmaker, his strongest influences have been the work of Elia Kazan, Martin Scorsese, the Coen Brothers and Alexander Payne.

In his free time, he still enjoys jamming with some of his music buddies. He also studies Classical Piano. Though he enjoyed growing up in New York City and still has some great friends there, Luke is happy and proud to call Los Angeles his home.

 

Sebastian Sadowski-Rogers - Producer

Sebastian Sadowski-Rodgers Missing ChildBorn in Krakow Poland, Sebastian Sadowski-Rogers spent the majority of his life in New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Upon graduating high school, Sebastian did a tour of duty in the Army and then attended Oneonta State University.

He soon realized that common sense and a great attitude is the best way to success. Sebastian always wanted to act and make movies. Although everyone around him tried taking him out of it he kept to his goal. Sebastian left New York in 2006 and embarked himself on a trip. He worked jobs across the United States saving every dime he could for Hollywood.

In 2007 Sebastian made it to Hollywood. His determination, people skills and problem solving sense jump started his career into the production side. While adding nine feature films to his acting resume he also participated in the production of two films that are now finished and ready for distribution.

 

Emily Chiu - Editor

Editor Emily Chiu's dog, Ronnie, for Missing ChildOriginally from Las Vegas NV, since a young age Emily had been interested in the arts studying the violin, visual art, and later acting at the Las Vegas Academy of International studies, Performing and Visual arts. Later she went on to UNLV where she decided to give film studies a try, there she discovered that she had a love of film editing. After graduation Emily moved to Los Angeles, and worked in many different aspects of production, from production assistant, development assistant, art department, and camera assistant. She came to the conclusion that post production is where she should be.

Working diligently for the last few years, Emily has been an assistant editor for numerous influential editors including Martin Hunter, Glenn Scantlebury, Howard Smith, Jim Coblentz, David Blackburn, and Brian Anton. She has edited a few short films and co-edited the zombie comedy “Wasting Away”. Recently she worked on the re-edit of feature film “Hybrid” directed by Eric Valette.

Emily loves editing because it’s where the story takes shape again and all the pieces of everyone’s hard work and dedication come together, and working closely with a director to bring their vision to life. Emily’s passion has always been in independent film, and sometimes cannot believe her great good fortune that she gets to do what she loves and gets paid for it!

 

Francisco Bulgarelli - Director of Photography

Francisco Bulgarelli Missing ChildOriginally from Costa Rica, Francisco Bulgarelli enrolled at the Conservatory Castella Arts School at the early age of nine, he continued his art studies at the University of Costa Rica. He also studied film and still photography at UCLA Extension where he graduated in 2001 with a certificate in cinematography.

Francisco has shot music videos, commercials, short films and features.

Some of his music videos include: "Death is a Flower" for the band Budhi Brown, "No le Digan" for Paco, "Hot Damn" for Iman Jarret and "Shut Me Up" for the band M.S.I. which was number 1 for several weeks on myspace.com

The short film "Broken" which he shot for director David Wendelman has screened at the NY Latino Int. Film Festival and the San Diego Latino Film Festival among others.

Francisco continues to collaborate with filmmakers from many different backgrounds to bring great stories to life.

 

James W. Thompson Jr. - Production Design

James W. Thompson Jr. Missing Child Through his work as a Production Designer/Art Director, James's intention is to enthrall, inspire, and at times, to raise consciousness of those drawn to the art form.

His journey began while attending the State University of New York (Oswego), where he explored his love for theatrical design. James majored in Theatrical Design, Art and Biology and graduated cum laude.

He later expanded his passion for scenic design by shifting into the realm of film and television design. During that time James obtained a Masters of Fine Arts in Production Design from the American Film Institute Conservatory (AFI).

 

 

 

 

Christina Williams - Casting Director

Christina Williams - Missing ChildStarting as a kid, Christina had a passion for the entertainment industry. After a childhood of acting and performing, she longed for more behind the scenes knowledge. Christina joined ARC Talent Management as an intern to begin that phase of her career. In a short time, she became a partner for the company.

Her desire to keep learning and pushing forward in the industry helped create ARC Casting. This division has proven to be educational and rewarding on many levels. Christina loves to help Directors and Producers bring their projects to life.

 

 

 

 

Janet Ellis - Casting Director

Janet Ellis - Missing ChildJanet has worked in various forms of the entertainment industry for the past 15 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Finance with an emphasis in Entertainment. Janet spent a short time working for one of the top talent agencies on the east and west coasts, and for a major TV studio in World Wide Television, before becoming a partner with ARC Talent Management.

As Arc Talent continued to flourish, she and Christina Williams decided to expand its horizons into casting and successfully started their Casting Division; ARC Casting. With their 360 degree industry knowledge, their passion, dedication and actor friendly approach, they hope to continue to grow their casting division in the years to come.

 

Michael Barbuto - Writer

Michael Barbuto - Writer Missing ChildMichael was born in Brooklyn, New York. Missing Child is his first Screenplay/Novel. He currently resides in New York City.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Soraya Andrade - Producer

Soraya Andrade - ProducerSoraya grew up in New York City, where her interest in the entertainment industry took root. In college, she majored in Film and Performing Arts, and started out in the business as an actress, appearing Off-Broadway in several plays. She also spent many years in the business world of New York, sharpening her negotiating skills and financial/marketing knowledge.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Soraya starred and co-starred in several independent feature films, and has vast experience on major sets, including working with Nicolas Cage in "8MM". Robin Williams and Billy Crystal in "Father's Day". Christina Applegate and Will Farrell in "Anchor Man". She has done Guest Spots for several television shows.

With 20 years of industry experience under her belt, and an acute knowledge of the business world, Soraya found her calling in Producing. She is also writing a Screenplay with the talented Producer and Filmmaker Bobby Leigh, and just wrapped production on her second film festival, the Beverly Hills Hi-Def Film Fest at the prestigious Fine Arts Theatre.
